How to avoid the queues at Disneyland® Paris
With two fantastic Disney® Parks boasting over 50 amazing attractions, it’s easy to see why so many people want to visit the most magical place on Earth – Disneyland® Paris! But what are the best ways to avoid the queues and reduce waiting times?
Whilst it’s not possible to skip the queues entirely, we have a number of top tips for maximising your time at Disneyland® Paris.
1. Visit on quieter days
Unfortunately there is no magical time of the year when you will have the entire Park to yourself, but there are certain periods when Disneyland® Paris is much quieter than others. If possible, avoid popular times of year including Easter & the Summer Holidays, and special event weekends such as the Disneyland® Paris Magic Run Weekend. Weekends also tend to draw a higher number of visitors, so try visiting the Parks during the week.
2. Visiting during school term times
If you are able to visit outside of the school holidays, you’ll find the Disney® Parks are a lot less crowded and wait times much shorter, allowing you to squeeze more magic into your day. The Parks at Disneyland® Paris are currently much quieter due to a limit on the number of guests able to visit each day. If you are able to quarantine on your return from France, why not visit Disneyland® Paris this autumn to take advantage of the much shorter queues!?
3. Board as a Single Rider
If you’re willing to ride an attraction alone (separate from the rest of your party), another way of avoiding the queues is to board via the Single Rider entrance. You’ll cut down your waiting time and jump onto certain attractions much quicker!
4. Make use of Extra Magic Time
One of the benefits of booking a stay at a magical Disney® Hotel is that you’ll be able to use Extra Magic Time. This means that you’ll be able to enter the Disney® Parks earlier than regular guests and enjoy attractions before the official opening times!
5. Check wait times on the Disneyland® Paris app
Before heading to a particular attraction, check the wait times using the Disneyland® Paris app. Keep an eye on the app during the day, and if a wait time decreases significantly, head straight to that attraction!
